Crazy British Librarians

‘People pre-judge me because I look like Hitler’

So he looks like Hitler, but is he hip?

Well, yeah he's hip! Didn't you read about his smart clothes! I'd imagine they're vintage, so he'd fit right into the NYC hipster librarian scene.

Please tell me that camo/Army-chic is not about to be replaced by Nazi-chic!

He looks like the Alec Guinness version of Hitler: The Bunker Years.

Apologies if I'm being dense, but I'm not getting the sense that you know that NewsBiscuit is the Onion of Great Britain. There is no such person. (The librarian, I mean. I'm not challenging the existence of Hitler.)

What John said. It had me going, and I almost believed it, until they pulled in the Stalin look-alike.

John, yes, I know what Newsbiscuit is.

No drinks named after Dewey Decimal numbers and no tattoos? I would have to go with unhip...

I knew it was a send-up because that dude didn't even look like Stalin, yo.

I know a few librarians who look just like Hilary Clinton though--and that's just as bad or even worse than looking like Hitler.

Isn't that a file photo from the German film "Downfall"?

I hate to say it but I read for about two paragraphs thinking it was for real, until he mentioned the mustache.

However, I'd pay money to see a librarian Hitler/Stalin brouhaha; it's certainly be more entertaining than the Jean Teasdale/Hillary Clinton-wannabe tiff we had in reference.

And if this is the new hip, I could get into it. I mean, why deal with being a tattooed semi-intellectual with odd musical tastes since every other un-hip person is doing the same thing?

No, give me polished boots, a shaved head, and a monocle with a mustache. Forget Conan the Librarian, get ready for Ivan
in Circulation, and wait till you see the stamp I've got!

We do insist on seeing our library patrons' papers on demand though.

But let's be real, he could change his look if he really wanted to!

Kevin Musgrove, I just read your profile and I can't stop laughing. You are HILARIOUS!

Oh I totally thought it was real until he started talking about Mein Kampf. :P lol
